Fab Five member Carson Kressley's sharp tongue has gotten him just as much attention on Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" as his fashion expertise. So much so that Us magazine has hired him to pen a twice-a-month fashion column and conduct celebrity interviews.

"Carson's flair and dynamic personality are a perfect match for the editorial direction of the magazine," says Janice Min, the magazine's editor in chief.

Not just a clotheshorse, Kressley is a former member of the U.S. World Cup Equestrian team. He holds degrees in Finance and Fine Art and has worked for designer Ralph Lauren as well as a fashion stylist for Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The second season of "Queer Eye" premiered Tuesday, Nov. 18, attracting 2.8 million viewers, making Bravo the No. 1 ad-supported cable network for the night among the key advertising demographics of 18 to 49 and 25 to 54.

Kressley's initial journalistic efforts for Us -- interviews with Bette Midler and Cher -- are scheduled to run in December.
